There is no shock worse than a shopaholic facing the damage caused in their wallet. Yes, I am referring to myself.
Hello good people and welcome to the land of positive vibes, love and light. We keep the positive in and the negatives as lessons. No harsh judgments here, we respect humans. We love all…….the cake in the world. So welcome, we have different types of tea and cake in an unlimited supply. Well unlimited because you will bring your own cake. So really however you choose to be unlimited is up to you. *wink
Finances are so important yet a pain in the neck. Not too many people are willing to discuss finances or even help each other out make better choices. Especially girls. This is not an attack ladies so let’s not put our handbags down or start removing our earrings. Hear me out first. When it comes to groups for raising funds together or starting a business together, information is so crystal clear. Not much is hidden because we all want to progress as a team and that’s pretty epic.
The issue comes in when you start asking a lady about what she shopped for in a particular day. Now this I am saying because someone asked me and I immediately went defensive. How dare person A ask me such a thing? It is my money after all so I do what I want with it and in any case I needed that thing that week. This is me trying to make myself not feel as bad. It was just that one time anyway and I’ve already saved. But it comes to a certain point where even the necessities we have to use sparingly.
Okay so what I’m I driving at here (most obvious question ever Jack2y…. Shut up internal sarcastic voice). We need each other so that we can share ideas on managing our finances and our purchases better. Not just saving but how will this money give us a quality of life? We need to share our ideas and maybe even get a better understanding on sometimes say no to buy something. I’ll be the first in this confessional. Hey guys, my name is Jack2y and I am a shopaholic.
One thing I learned today tough is that our budget changes depending on the situation we are in and that having different sources of income are dire to staying laser focus in enjoying life and what it has to offer. Our budget does not need to be stagnant because in different periods of our lives, more money allocation may be needed for one activity as compared to another time or a previous month. This is okay and sensible. Having different sources of income provides a cushioning effect financially in that if one job doe not work out, we do not go back to the very beginning. In the very least, we have something to keep us afloat.
Now that is my two cents on money matters. I would love to learn so much more from you guys so I have one question, what is one thing you do to keep afloat? Tell me about it in the comment section below or on my social media pages linked and don’t forget, subscribe.
As always I wish you nothing but positive vibes love and light. Thanks for reading and have a good one!!
